Now that you've got your bodice and skirt sewn together it's time now to fit your Toile to your shape.
Here's what you'll be looking for with your fitting:
the side seam of the skirt runs vertical
the waist and the hem line run parallel with the floor
if the top two fittings aren't happening then you have a fitting problem with either your tummy, butt or sway back - but it will look quite evident when you have a lot of draping coming away from either the tummy, hip or butt area.

BACK VIEW -
The back needs a Sway Back Alteration done at the waistline.
SIDE VIEW -
My hem and waist run parallel to the floor and the side seam is vertical.
My Dress Toile above doesn't look too bad now that the Bodice has been attached but I'll still do a few fitting alterations:
I'll be taking the side seam of the skirt from the hip right up to the underarm of the bodice - on both sides.
Also, I'll be doing a sway back alteration in the bodice and the skirt.
FRONT VIEW -
With the side seams taken in just a little it makes a nicer fit to the dress Toile.
BACK VIEW -
I then did a Sway Back alteration by pinning at the waist seam about 1cm starting at the CB and going out to nothing at the side seam.
That alteration has made the dress sit a lot better at the back.
SIDE VIEW -
The hemline and waistline are running parallel to the floor and the side seam is vertical.

Working Out What Fitting Problems Need To Be Solved
I've got my lovely model, Abbie, to model her Skirt and Dress Toile to show other problems you might be facing when fitting your Dress Toile.
That's it! Module 3:3 will show you how to transfer your alterations to your pattern pieces
